Breaking the Binary Theatre is a new work development and community building hub wherein transgender, non-binary, and Two-Spirit+ (TNB2S+) artists come together to reclaim our artistic license and liberty.

Breaking the Binary Theatre’s Summer Intensive program is back and bigger than before. Submissions are open through Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Introducing BTB Across America, supporting transgender, non-binary, and Two-Spirit+ (TNB2S+) outside of New York City. In this new program, BTB will travel to different areas within the United States, partner with a regional theatre company, and co-produce a one-week workshop of a new play written by a TNB2S+ artist local to that area that the regional partner has yet to work with.
